Parks Galore

There are 18 parks in Sunnyvale alone and Sunnyvale is not that big of a city. So we'll definitely be trying out a new park each week. The park in these pictures is called Las Palmas Park. It had palm trees everywhere, hence the name.

I told Tim how awesome it is to have so many parks close by and he said that since most people in California don't have much of a yard they use the parks all the time. Makes sense, but I didn't really think of that until he pointed it out.



There wasn't any water coming out of this yet, but this is supposed to be a water slide. It was really cool because there are all these pictures engraved in the rock.



Swinging- Xavier hasn't been a huge fan of swinging, but he's really coming around. Look at that big ol' grin.



Tim got this shot. I thought it was a cool angle with the palm trees above us. It's been really neat to see palm trees everywhere. Definitely a new experience for us Utahn and Michiganians.



Anytime Xavier crawls into one of these tunnels he lays on his back and says "I'm lost mama." Even though he's looking right at me. Silly boy.




This is a view of part of the park- simply beautiful with the water surrounding the playground.
