Orchard and Community Center

I mentioned in a previous post that we are really close to Sunnyvale's community center. Here are some pictures of Xavier's favorite things about this community center.



We have an orchard right in the city. It's behind the community center and they have created a park out of it. There is even a visitor's center. Xavier enjoys running along the outside of the orchard.



Xavier's favorite part about the orchard is this orange "tractor". It looks similar to Terrence the Tractor from Thomas the Tank Engine. He waves and says hello to Terrence every time we visit the orchard.



If you look really close there is a squirrel on the right side of this tree. He was standing as stiff and straight as a board. Before he took this pose another squirrel was chasing him up and down this tree as fast as lightning. Xavier was rolling with laughter he thought it was so silly. Xavier has a thing for squirrel's anyway. If he spots one anywhere he has to chase it. So this was fun for him to see a squirrel chasing another squirrel. I'm sure he would have joined in if he weren't strapped into his stroller.



This is a view of the community center. It has a few fountains and an area to walk around the water.



Xavier loves watching the ducks. The best part is there are about 8 or so baby ducks. He absolutely adores those baby duckies.
