We had our annual Labor Day Softball game for the third year in a row. My friend Stephanie has been wonderful to organize this for all our friends each year. Many of the people who come lived in the Living Center when we went to school at Michigan State so it's kind of a reunion too. This year was a much smaller group than in the past, but it was probably the most fun year. We started off with some softball. It was mainly the guys who played while the girls chatted. Then we decided to pull out a good old fashioned game of kick ball. We all played and had a blast!
Not only do we love seeing all our friends each year at this event, but each year the group is growing (meaning there are more and more kids joining the group.) The kids had fun running around the playground, swinging, chasing each other, playing t-ball, and just being kids.
Erin (& her hubby James came all the way from Chicago- what loyal fans!), Katie Roll, Stephanie, and Aubrey.
Skyler with her game face on.
Calm, cool, and collected. What you can't see is that he probably has some of the broken up tire chips that was used as the playground cover. He probably chewed on more of those than he did real food. His face was covered in black drool after the end of the day.
Hayden and Mason- aren't they the cutest twins you've ever seen!? Double trouble? No, they are such little gentlemen.
Bauer- looks like he's bargaining for something.
The boys: James, Matt, Tim, Mitch, Adam, and James' brother
I think Xavier ran the entire field several times over. The field was at least the size of two baseball fields. He never stopped and as you can see didn't even wake up when we gave him a bath. All tuckered out.
