Coincidentally the day before we left for California, one of Tim's best friends Aaron and his family were in town from Texas. We haven't seen them in almost 2 years. So the Adams' graciously hosted a BBQ in Owosso, MI. It was such perfect timing and so wonderful to see them. You realize that with your best friends even if you don't see each other for a long time, you can still pick up right where you left off.
Tim spent some of his childhood in Owosso where Aaron grew up. After we ate we walked around Owosso and visited some popular spots- Curwood Castle, the middle school, etc. It was wonderful to catch up and we were sad to say goodbye again. We hope we won't have to go 2 years before we see them again.

We are so glad that it worked out and we were able to see you guys! Aaron could not stop smiling! It was definitely the highlight of our trip! Incidently - we found out that our kids were sick with a pretty contagious sickness we are praying that little Xavier, Kam and Lillian don't get it!!!
