Swim lessons

These boys perfected their swimming skills by taking lessons at the Nazareth pool.

 Gavin's progress was amazing this summer.  His first lesson he was unsure of swimming without help and refused to even get in the water when they went to the deep end.  At the end of his first week they went down the slide and he pretty much went down it at a snails pace, had the teacher catch him, and walked his hands along the side of the pool until he got to the ladder.  Fast forward to his last week of swim lessons and he was swimming on his own from one end of the deep end to the other.  The slide- he mastered.  He was flying down the slide and creating giant splashes as his body landed in the water.  Then he'd swim independently to the ladder.  

Gavin became an independent swimmer!  Yay!  No more life jacket for him in the deep end.  He was so excited at how much he improved.  I certainly was too.
