Xavier's team was the Forks Phillies.

I think this is one of my favorite "dad" pictures of all time.  Of course Gavin has his hand on the hose ready to turn it on Tim at any moment, Reid is looking up at Tim as if he's his biggest hero in all the world, and Xavier is smiling from ear to ear waiting for the water fight to begin.  Tim and his three sons.  He's such a great dad and these boys know it!

Cye and Gavin got to play on the same team this year.  

Uncle Henry came to cheer for Xavier at one of his games.  He's such a great friend and always tries to make it to at least one game of the boys each season.

As part of Xavier's birthday presents we got tickets for the boys (Tim, X, and Gavin) to watch a baseball game at Yankee Stadium.  I'd say these boys had an experience of a lifetime.  The team the Yankees played just happened to be the Detroit Tigers!  Yea buddy!  And to top it off, Verlander (Xavier's favorite pitcher) was pitching for this game.  We didn't know Verlander would be pitching when we bought the tickets, but it was the cherry on top for Xavier and Gavin's experience in Yankee Stadium.

What's a baseball game without Cracker Jacks?  It isn't a game at all.  This was the boys first time eating Cracker Jack's.

I'd say that's a big enough hot dog, wouldn't you?

I'm grateful to say that this story has the happiest of endings......The Tigers beat the Yankees!  Going to this game for the boys was pretty much perfect from start to finish.
