Father/Son campout 2016

This is boy time at its most epic proportions!  Reid and I stayed home and had a great date night of our own.  These boys made a dinner stop at McDonald's, one of the only times they are allowed to eat such "healthy" food.

Then off to explore, hike, dig in dirt, catch bugs, breathe in mountain air, and see what kind of men they really are.
Gavin couldn't have been happier.  He found a toad.
Peter, X, Sebastian, and Gavin (with his little toad friend of course)
Little Eric saying hello.
Tents are all set up.  Now some grub! S'more time!
Best daddy in the whole wide world and beyond.
Gavin and Cye playing some baseball.
As the sun went down, the fire warmed up and the music began.
After a late night, sleeping on bumpy ground, and waking up early these kids were ready to cook some breakfast.
The boys had a blast!  They had some quality time with their dads.  Mucho male bonding took place, some spiritual thoughts were shared, memories were made, and all on little sleep because these guys love their sons that much. These daddy's need to take down camp, go home, and have a turn sleeping.
Well done super dads!  I'm also happy to report no bear sightings took place and every one came home safe and sound.  Just smokey and dirty.  Campout complete.
