Columbus day. No school. Apple picking with friends? Why yes of course!
Grim's Greenhouse was our destination. It was a new place for us this year and it turned out to be awesome. It reminded me a lot of Uncle John's Cider Mill. It was super family friendly and had lots of fun activities beyond apple picking. You could easily spend a whole day here.

Reid was still crawling which was not the greatest because he crawled all over. You can't see his pants here but they are pretty much covered in dirt! A boys world is only complete with lots of dirt.

Raub's Farm with the Oringdulph family. We had a special treat because the Easton High School's band was playing at the farm. We have a teenager from church who is in the band and the boys got to see him play. They thought it was pretty cool.

Have I ever told you that even though we don't buy toy guns, everything ends up becoming a weapon somehow? Our trio blocks, rubber bands and rocks, sticks, legos, they all get turned into weapons. In this picture I think they are using pieces of cornstalk to fight bad guys.

Hayden and Cye hosted their very own Halloween party. The boys were super stoked to have yet another reason to wear their Halloween costumes. (They each had a school parade, Fall Fest, a Halloween party, trunk or treat, and trick or treating) We definitely got our money's worth on these costumes and we pretty much had an entire week of Halloween celebrations. To be honest, why can't it just be one day? It seems like everything is so over-celebrated these days. But I digress. The kids love it and therefore it makes me happy to see them happy.

The 2014 Richardson Jack-o-lanterns. Gavin wanted a mad pumpkin face and Xavier wanted the happy pumpkin face. We could title them "Good vs. Evil".
