Tim's most recent business trip took him to Hungary. It's neat to see my boys become aware of the world through their daddy's travels. It's not too often you here a two year old talking about Moscow, Russia, London, or Budapest, Hungary; but in our house those places are familiar. We try to learn something about the countries daddy visits so that we can feel a little closer to him while he is gone.

This is the Buda side of Budapest. A little factoid: Budapest is the capital and largest city of Hungary and the largest in East Central Europe. Budapest was once two cities (Buda and Pest). In 1873 they were unified as one city, occupying both banks of the Danube river.
Part of the Buda side.

Tim's hotel. Fancy Shmancy.
You may have heard of the octagon, pentagon, and hexagon, but have you heard of the "Rocktogon"? Xavier and Gavin got the biggest kick out of this!
One of the highlights of Tim's trip was getting to attend church in Hungary. He was able to locate an LDS church building and attend their Sunday meetings.
His other memorable moment was being picked out of the crowd to join some Hungarian dancers on stage to perform some traditional folk dancing. Now, if you know Tim at all dancing is not his forte. I just wish I could have been there to witness such a moment. His dancing skills or lack thereof have now been witnessed by all of his colleagues. It's a good thing Tim doesn't really get embarrassed by anything and is a confident person. For him it was just something to joke about afterwards.
After long days and late night dinner events Tim was ready to come home. Flying home in the snow.
We were ready to welcome him home!
