Jr. Pre-school

So a few of my friends inspired me and my friend Steph to start a junior pre-school. We've been having the pre-school once a week for a couple months now. There are five children that attend. For the most part we keep things pretty simple. We focus on a letter and a shape or a letter and a number each week. Yesterday we finally had everyone attend. We were all healthy and happy! The kids learned about the letter F. Some of the activities we did was fish in the bathtub, make frog puppets, sing Old McDonald had a Farm, and eat fruit and fish crackers for snack. It was a lot of fun.

Keep it pretty simple?! That sounds like a pretty involved bunch of fun. What a great idea!

I'm glad that you found a group of ladies willing to do it. I think it's lots of fun for the kids. Lately, we've become a little burned out so we are just doing play dates. But it's nice to have some time sans Claire to get some things done a few times a month. I can't believe how big Xavier is! 2 already?!
