CTR Olympics

Our primary held an awesome activity: the CTR Olympics.  They started out explaining what olympics are and showed the kids their Olympic flag.  Then they started their games.  The first one was Lehi's family's journey through the wilderness and they had the kids do a obstacle course.  At the start of the course they had to build Jerusalem and then run away from it as they did the other obstacles.

The next game was 3-legged races.  Xavier and Toby were a team for this one.

Next they used straws to blow ducks down the river.

Another activity the kids enjoyed was the "woman at the well".  The kids had to fill a sponge on one end and take it down to the other end of the grass, squeeze the sponge into a bucket and run back to their team.

I can't remember what the title of this game was, but Gavin loved hanging the tennis balls on the ladder.

The kids made CTR oaths by coloring CTR on a plate and writing down their promise to CTR by doing something like reading my scriptures every day, serving my family, etc.

The kids also played a game where they pinned the CTR shield on the soldier, put a puzzle together for Noah's Ark, and weaved around chairs to get to the tree of life.  The kids had a blast!

After finishing all of the Olympic events the kids were awarded medals and a snack to refuel.

The Primary did such an awesome job putting this activity together!  Another great event to keep our kids strong in the gospel.
