A boys life!

One of our neighbors has been racing cars and teaching others how to race cars for a long time.  He was getting his car ready to head to a race and asked if Xavier would like to help him.  Talk about the coolest day ever for a boy!

Our Gavin started soccer!  He's a firecracker on the field and has intense focus whenever he is playing.  This little competitor is fun to watch.
Xavier's first scout outing was to search for bugs at Merrill Creek Reservoir.  They were in nature heaven.
Sebastian and Xavier working hard together.
Gavin was so excited to join the fun!  Our future scout getting some early practice.
Our littlest dude just goes with the flow.  He was so excited seeing every wet, wiggly, and slimy thing that the boys pulled out of the pond.
Baby salamander.
What is it about sleeping boys that just melts my heart? When they are awake they never stop, but the peace in their faces when they sleep helps me to pause and remember all the promise they have ahead of them.
My little monkey climbing another wall.  This boy doesn't let anything stop him!
Xavier got to learn how to catch this year in baseball.  He really liked it.  Catchers do wear some pretty cool gear.

My monkey yet again scaling a wall.  Grandpa was the one that taught him this trick.
And then there's the skateboard tricks.  If it's dangerous and it makes mom worry like mad Gavin will do it.
