Happy Birthday Gavin!

Gavin is ONE!

Gavin is a happy and active little guy!
He loves dancing and clapping his hands to music.

Gavin weighs in at 20 lbs. 9 oz. and he's 30.5 inches tall.
He climbs on everything. He's cruising all over the place and is a little hesitant on taking those first steps.

Gavin is obsessed with balls and spends half his day finding every ball in our house. Needless to say we have way too many balls scattered on the floor. He can spot balls anywhere we go too. If he does see one he immediately starts saying "ga ga" while making the baby sign for ball. It's at that point I know he will either scream until I give it to him OR scream until I give it to him.

Gavin loves to say "cah" for car and "bye bye". He has this cute little hand wave that goes along with it. His mom is still his favorite person. Daddy is a close second. Every time daddy comes home from work Gavin's face lights up and he immediately books it for the front door.

Gavin enjoys reading books with mama and cries if he doesn't get story time with brother before bed. Gavin didn't used to be a cuddly baby, but over the last couple months he loves to cuddle with mommy before bed. He always gently twirls the hair by my neck which I think is so sweet.

Gavin has definitely turned from a mellow baby to a high energy one year old. He is into everything which keeps me on my toes. Time to baby proof even more. We have had so much fun experiencing Gavin's first year together as a family and we can't wait to see all that he does in his next year of life.

Gavin is one super kid and a sunbeam in our home!

Gavin's party was small. A few of our friends weren't able to make it, but the one's who did enjoyed this day with our family. The Dawson's are our friends and neighbors. Dan also carpools to work with Tim.

I now have two rambunctious boys. I feel lucky to be Gavin's mom and enjoy getting to know him as we learn and grow as a family.
