Soccer

This lady is Coach Kathy!  

She was such a fabulous coach and such a perfect fit for Xavier.  

Xavier has been playing soccer with Coach Kathy all year.  We have grown to love her!  

As many of you know Xavier loves to talk, he's very outgoing, and uses his imagination constantly.  Coach Kathy encouraged these traits in Xavier, but when it was her turn to talk, his time to focus, and his time to learn she made sure Xavier was staying on task and engaged.  She was fun when it allowed and serious when Xavier needed it.  Such a perfect balance.  She had the kids play pirates, sharks, and many other characters to keep the game of soccer fun and interesting without them realizing they were learning the fundamentals of soccer.  I wish I could have had this kind of teacher for Xavier's preschool teacher. (but that's another story for a different day)

Coach Kathy has taught Xavier so much about soccer and so many life skills that we were sad to say goodbye.  She will definitely have a special place in mine and Xavier's hearts.  Hopefully when Gavin is ready to start soccer, we can have her again.
